Muchachito Bombo Infierno continues on the road and comes with energy, now in a trio format. A member of Trimelón de Naranjus and the supergroups G-5 and La Pandilla Voladora, he returns with a new band and his unmistakable charisma, in a concert scheduled at Sala B del CAEM this Friday.
Muchachito is Jairo Perera, an artist who has the street musician gene deep inside, as it is there, on the sidewalks and terraces, where he began his artistic career in the early nineties, later becoming part of the musical movement baptized as Mestizaje that emerged in post-Olympic Barcelona. In 2004, he transforms into Muchachito Bombo Infierno, which was the starting point of his project with a band.
With the Bombo Infierno lineup, he has recorded several albums: ‘Vamos que nos vamos’, ‘Visto lo Visto’, or ‘Idas y vueltas’. In 2006, he becomes part of the G-5 group, along with Kiko Veneno, Los Delinqüentes, and Tomasito, and they record the album ‘Tucaratupapi’. In 2013, he becomes part of La Pandilla Voladora, a group formed by Albert Pla, Lichis, El Canijo de Jerez, and Tomasito. In 2015, he records ‘La maqueta’ and embarks on a solo tour.
In 2016, he records his fourth album as Muchachito, ‘El Jiro’, produced by himself, Diego Pozo ‘El Ratón’, and Ale Acosta (Fuel Fandango). In 2018, he participates in the 20 years tour of Fito&Fitipaldis, accompanying the band as a guest artist.
In 2022, he embarks on the Rumbaorleans tour, accompanied by his new band, in a Marching Band style format.
In 2023, he sets up his own studio and records his album, ‘Qué puede salir mal’, combining it with concerts in a One Man Band format throughout the peninsula, Islands, Italy, and the UK.
