In terms of social rental, 38 collaborative housing units have been developed in the capital with an investment of 5 million euros, financed through European MRR Funds and the Junta. Lastly, a housing unit in Soria has been acquired through the SAREB housing acquisition program.

Construction of 38 collaborative housing units in Soria

The Director visited the construction works of 38 collaborative housing units under official protection for social rental, with priority for young people, with a total investment of 5,035,950 euros, of which 1.9 million are European funds and the rest are Junta’s own funds. The development will be located on Calle Eduardo Saavedra.

The building will have six floors plus a basement and will feature two-bedroom units, a living room with integrated kitchen, two bathrooms, and a terrace. Additionally, common areas such as coworking spaces, a laundry room with a drying area, as well as a garage with 38 parking spaces and 35 storage rooms, have been planned.

Rehabitare program in Salduero

As part of the Rehabitare Program, the rehabilitation of a housing unit located on Calle Real in Salduero has been carried out, with a total budget of 64,094 euros. It is a property built in 1944 that, despite having undergone various maintenance works over time, required a renovation to comply with new habitability and energy efficiency standards.

Prior to the intervention, the unit had a usable area of 124.54 square meters and featured load-bearing stone walls and wooden pillars inside. After the renovation, the space has been reorganized and optimized, achieving a more functional and efficient layout with a usable area of 121 square meters. It now includes a living-dining-kitchen area, three bedrooms, a hallway, and two bathrooms.

Key actions undertaken include the renewal of plumbing, heating, and electrical installations, the installation of new insulation, the implementation of false ceilings and partition walls, as well as the installation of new carpentry and painting finishes.
