The Department of Culture, Tourism, and Sport has announced today this line of grants that aims to ensure competitiveness and quality in the sector of teaching Spanish to foreigners. The call, published today in the Bocyl, has a budget of 200,000 euros, and interested parties can submit applications until July 28.

The Official Gazette of Castile and León publishes today the extract of the call for grants aimed at financing the creation of businesses and technological innovation in the sector of teaching Spanish to foreigners for the year 2025. With this line of grants, the Government reinforces its support for the educational sector dedicated to promoting the use of Spanish as a universal language.
These grants, under a competitive process, aim to create a sufficient and innovative business fabric that ensures competitiveness and excellence in teaching Spanish to foreigners, with the goal of conveying to foreign students an image of quality that identifies the teaching of Spanish offered in Castile and León.
Entrepreneurs and companies, whether individuals or private legal entities with a presence in Castile and León, can apply for these grants. Projects eligible for funding must fall into these categories:
- Projects for the creation of companies dedicated to teaching Spanish to foreigners in Castile and León.
- Projects related to technological innovation of services or products, as well as the creation or development of digital environments and new formats, in companies in the sector of teaching Spanish to foreigners in the Community.
The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen business days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the BOCyL, that is, from July 8 to July 28, 2025, inclusive.
The allocated budget amounts to 200,000 euros. Regarding the individual amount, none of the grants awarded can exceed 60% of the total investment project, with a limit of 50,000 euros per beneficiary.
