The Department of Education annually convenes the free tests for the direct obtaining of the Secondary Education Diploma by people over 18 years old. In this way, it is established that the first call will be held on May 28 and the second on November 12. The exams will take place in an Adult Education Center (CEPA) for each province of the Community and in Ponferrada.
In this manner, those interested in participating can submit their application, one for each call, along with the required documentation from April 2 to 16, for the first call in May, and from September 29 to October 10, for the second call in November. People over 18 years old and those who turn 18 in 2025 may take part.
The tests consist of three parts, corresponding to the three areas of knowledge in which Adult Secondary Education is organized: Scientific-technological area, Social area, and Communication area. The latter consists of two exercises, one of Spanish Language and Literature and another of a foreign language, English or French. The exams will be held in a single day, in morning and afternoon sessions, and will be the same for the entire Community.
