Salamanca will host the 9th edition of the International Tournament Ciudad de Salamanca on June 20, 21, and 22, where 38 participating teams from Spain and Portugal will come together.
The City Council of Salamanca is once again collaborating with Club Deportivo Salamanca Fútbol Sala, the tournament organizer, by providing the municipal sports halls of La Alamedilla, Río Tormes, and Rosa Colorado where the matches will take place; matches will also be held at sports facilities in Santa Marta de Tormes and Aldeatejada. In this way, the Salamanca City Council and the club demonstrate their commitment to promoting grassroots sports among children and young people in Salamanca.
In this new edition, a total of 90 matches will be played, with over 500 players participating in five categories: benjamin, alevin, infantil, cadet, and juvenile, ranging from ages 8 to 19 years old.
Matches will kick off on Friday, June 20th, starting at 6:00 PM, at the mentioned venues, with the finals taking place on Sunday afternoon at La Alamedilla sports hall. It is worth noting that all matches held at La Alamedilla will be broadcasted by Artificial Intelligence to reach a larger number of Salamanca futsal fans through the tiivii.gal audiovisual platform.
