Detenido por hurto de mochila, estafa y robo con fuerza en Salamanca.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the theft of a backpack, fraud, and burglary in an inhabited house to which he gained access with keys and the address from the documentation that was in the victim’s backpack.

According to the National Police, the events date back to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday when this man gained access to a private area at the victim’s workplace intended only for employees. From there, he took a backpack with personal documentation, bank cards, and other items, and subsequently left the place without any worker noticing.

Later, this man went to a commercial establishment where he made a purchase that he tried to pay unsuccessfully with one of the bank cards that was in a wallet in the stolen backpack. Subsequently, the man went to the owner’s residence and entered the house with the keys, from which he took 500 euros and a phone.

The events were reported to the police, and after the necessary checks were carried out, the identity of the perpetrator was determined. Two hours later, officers on duty encountered a young man known to them whose characteristics matched those of the identified individual, so they proceeded to intercept and search him, seizing several items including the stolen wallet containing a total of 220 euros and the house keys.

At that moment, the young man was arrested and taken to police facilities for the necessary procedures. Once all the relevant documentary procedures were completed, the detainee was brought before the Duty Magistrate’s Court in Salamanca.
