The Junta de Castilla y León has publicly announced in the Official Bulletin of the Community the list of available positions for those public employees who have obtained the status of civil servants after successfully completing the stabilization processes finalized last year, along with the final list of candidates who have secured such positions. This publication is made once the process of taking office by the officials who participated in the transfer competition has been completed.

In addition to the 712 new officials who will be joining their posts, the 1,913 workers who became permanent as labor personnel after stabilization are added, reaching a total of 2,625 new employees with permanent positions in the General Administration.

The positions offered correspond to vacancies included in the Job Position Chart, which not only guarantees the consolidation of these public employees but also opens the door to future mobility options and salary advancements.

Successfully completing a stabilization process is a significant advancement for professionals in the public sector, as it provides them with greater job security, economic certainty, and the possibility to develop their careers with more foresight and stability.

The Minister of the Presidency, Luis Miguel González Gago, has emphasized that «the Junta de Castilla y León thus acknowledges the effort, dedication, and commitment of personnel with a vocation for public service, which not only incentivizes their motivation but also contributes to improving the quality of service to citizens, strengthening stable and more qualified teams within the administration.»

In the field of civil servant stabilization, the Public Employment Offer included 714 positions to be distributed through 54 selection processes: 32 through a competition and 22 through a competition-examination. Two of these positions remain unallocated, as no candidate obtained the necessary score.

With this resolution, the Junta complies with the 2021 state Law on urgent measures to reduce temporary employment in the public sector, and continues to advance towards meeting the stability objectives set by the European Union.

Salary Increase

The Ministry of the Presidency has also published the Order recognizing the 0.5% salary increase for all public employees of the Junta de Castilla y León. This publication comes after the necessary approval of the Council of Ministers’ Agreement that recognized this salary increase for all public employees in Spain two weeks ago, with retroactive effect to January 1, 2024.

In this way, public employees of the Junta de Castilla y León will receive the corresponding arrears in August, alongside their payroll, where this increase will already be reflected and consolidated.

González Gago has highlighted that «this salary improvement has been implemented promptly as soon as the state regulations allowed it, fulfilling the commitment made to our public employees, and ensuring that their working conditions adapt to the evolution of the economic context and the agreements established at the national level, recognizing the efforts and constant contribution of the public employees of the Junta de Castilla y León to the smooth operation of public services.»
